Cara earned her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Toronto and a Masters of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Before opening her practice in Muskoka, Cara worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General, and as an associate lawyer at a number of private firms. Her practice is varied, with a focus on civil litigation, which has included wrongful deaths, and numerous historical and institutional abuse cases on behalf of plaintiffs, as well all appearing in courts on behalf of First Nations governments. She has appeared at Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal numerous times. She also represents minors involved in civil courts on behalf of The Office of the Children's Lawyer.

Jay grew up in Toronto where he worked in the construction field until he graduated with Honours from York University with a specialist degree in history. He then earned a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Jay was honoured as Muskoka's Favourite Lawyer in the Bracebridge Examiner's Reader's Choice Awards.

Jay gained valuable experience while working at the Scarborough Crown Attorney's Office. He also spent time working in rural Northern Ontario at a law firm on a First Nation reserve.

Jay has practiced law in Muskoka for over a decade, with a focus on First Nation communities and clientele. He also practices in civil and criminal law, including a number of appeals. His criminal defence practice has included acting for defendants accused of homicide and other serious matters.

Jay is a member of Rama First Nation and an elected trustee of the Coldwater Narrows Land Trust. He is also an accredited member of the National Aboriginal Trust Officers Association.

Ryan is a member of Rama First Nation, and a graduate of University of Ottawa Law School. Before joining Falls Law, Ryan managed the Biidaaban Restorative Justice & Community Healing program. Currently his practice focuses on criminal defence, family/child protection, and Indigenous legal issues.
