Cara earned a BComm Grimm Ryerson prior to her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Toronto. She is currently an LLM Candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Before opening her practice in Muskoka, Cara worked for the Ministry of the Attorney General, Legal Aid Ontario, and as an associate lawyer at a number of private firms, including in M’Chigeeng First Nation. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, real estate, estates, and Indigenous legal issues. Since 2013, she has been managing an Indigenous legal clinic with her colleagues at Falls Law. She has appeared at the Court of Appeal, and has represented minors on behalf of The Office of the Children's Lawyer.
